Talar's Story: Morning of the Wedding
Based on Armenian tradition, often the morning of the wedding day becomes it's own spectacle. The way I understand or know it to be is that Serj, his family and ushers will be getting ready and essentially pre-partying at our home. I will be getting ready at my parent's house with my mom, sister-in-law, aunts, family and friends. Then, once Serj and his group are ready, they will make their way to my parent's house where the morning festivities will begin.
This gathering usually has an attendance of about 40-50 people. So to make sure we have enough food and drinks to serve everyone, we have hired the services of 17 Catering & Events. I have known Alina for a long time through the Armenian community and really never even looked elsewhere. When you see the pictures of the food she prepares and sets for events, along with her sister Melina, it is absolute perfection!
The sisters have been so great to work with thus far. Their pre-set, yet adjustable, menu is a perfect blend of appetizers, mini bites, and deserts. Their price is very reasonable and their layout is just beautiful. Their menu even includes a server, and my favorite, a to-go box for the wedding party to take with them on their way to photos. We are very excited and looking forward to see the work of 17 Catering & Events!
