This place is just horrible, They need to learn to at least say hello to the customers, very rude no customer service whatsoever. And the cakes are nothing to go crazy about.

If a negative was possible, I would give Karine a negative rating. What's surprising to me is that the poor customer service did not come from the worker that was helping me, but from the owner herself. She has a attitude problem and is very mean to her workers. I boycott this place because she is not only rude to the customers, but very mean to her workers.

We were ordering a cake for a birthday and the worker gave us a price that was $10 less then the actual price of that cake because it had walnuts in it and Karina was eavesdropping the whole time we the worker was taking our order. When she heard the price, to just keep it short, she got very upset and handled the situation very unprofessionally and very rude. You would think the owner of a business would offer good customer service and be a great example to her workers...

I will never go back to this place.

I went to Karina's Cake house for my wedding cake and I was well prepared with the height, size, and picture of the cake I wanted. They said it can be done for sure and it would look amazing. The cake was supposed to be 5 feet tall and completely covered in different types of white flowers that I had delivered to them....When I walked into the hall on my wedding day I was completely disappointed to see the cake. The cake was about 3 Feet tall if not less, and covered with only 1 type of the flowers I gave them and roses on the top of the cake. Looked nothing even close to the picture I gave them. I can't understand why they would decorate the cake how they want it instead of what the customer wants. What is the point of asking customers for pictures and to describe what they want if the bakery is not going to follow directions? I would never go there again and would never recommend this bakery to anyone.

I loved the way my cake turned out. It was gorgeous and extravagant but their customer service was horrible. They are not aware of how to greet their customers or to assist you with the services you are looking for. My fiance had already given them a deposit so I had no choice but to stick to them.

Not to mention that they changed the prices on us after they gave us a receipt in writing. The service was horrible but I did receive very good compliments of how my cake turned out and tasted. So it is pretty much a toss up with this place.

I think that the pastries are very good. I honestly can't find another place that's as good when it comes to the pastries and the cakes. The customer service, however, has to get better. I agree with the previous posts that they have some rude workers there. I am not sure if they don't like what they are doing or they just don't like people. So yea, I also don't like to give bad comments but they need to improve on the customer service BIG TIME.

I think that it is ridiculous how expensive and rude Karina's bakery is. I am sorry I normally would not say anything bad about anyone or their business but come on everyone is with an attitude you go in there it is like a zoo. You stand there for an hour and at the end you get hit with a big bill. No way! No More! I decided not to go in anymore and I have been telling people to stop using the bakery so maybe they will learn to treat customers with respect.
Most Armenian bakeries, the workers are very nice when you walk in and they attend to your needs. At Karina's I feel like you have to please them not the other way around.
Sorry but I will not recommend your services to anyone especially in this economy.

Few days ago it was my son's 1st birthday and I ordered the cake from Karina's Cake House. The taste was very good (vanilla with strawberry), but it is the look that amazed me. I didn't choose anything from their books. I just gave them the theme balloon and asked them to match the cake with it.
The shape was to be "1" and the design was absolutely gorgeous. It passed way over my expectations. It was very very very nice. Thank you very much.

Everyone pretty much knows that Karina's Cake House makes the most delicious cakes (their meringue cake is to die for!). Why, then, must the service be so bad?! The employees have the biggest attitudes and straight up treat the customers as if they just don't need your business. And this is especially if they are just the least bit busy that day. More than once, I have just turned around and went on to some other bakery. And this is such a shame because I really do love their pastries! So I really feel bad giving them just 3 stars, but I feel I have to. They seriously need to rethink their actions and be a little more professional, because being treated that way, I honestly don't care if I never have another bite of what they have to offer!

I've had their hazelnut cake and it's absolutely delicious. The hazelnut cream they use tastes great and the cake is really moist. I've tried their meringue cake as well and it was ok, but nothing close to hazelnut.
