The name Anoush is taken from an epic love story which embodies the customs and traditions dear to the Armenian people. Anoush Banquets, originally Anoush Restaurant, was established in 1986 in Hollywood, California. From its birth, Anoush Restaurant was an instant success providing quality Mediterranean cuisine. In April 1990, it received critical acclaim in Los Angeles magazine as one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles.

In 1992, Anoush Restaurant opened its second location in Glendale to satisfy a growing demand for catering and banquets. Since then, through its award winning cuisine and relentless attention to detail, Anoush has grown into the premier banqueting destination in Southern California with five beautiful banquet rooms in Glendale and North Hollywood with seating for up to 550 guests in its Grand Ballroom.
