Wow! Horrible Horrible Service! First and foremost, she promised me the world. She told me she will make my engagement table so pretty and beautiful and when I tried to confirm it for the last week, she said that she won't do it. It's better for me to buy some fabric and just make it myself. She flaked on me multiple times by not showing up to our appointment. I went there 3 times and her employees told me that she had to run somewhere, she will be back soon or she had an emergency. The attitude of her workers is negative as well. I was stuck with her b/c I had already given her deposit. The flowers looked pretty nice but she was very rude, not professional at all and very irresponsible. She promises too much and does something very different from what she says.
I wish I had read this earlier. She even dared to lie when I called to ask her for the security deposit for the borrowed items. She told me there are vases missing. However, I had already counted them. So, I told her that I wrote it down and have proof. Then, she agreed that she was mistaken and apologized.

As I read the other reviews, I couldn't believe how similar it was to my experience with blue iris. She did the flowers for my engagement party and I was not happy with her at all. The centerpieces were nice but they were not what I expected. They were smaller and not what she promised them to be like. She left my cake table absolutely EMPTY as well as the engagement table where the priest does his thing. It looked TERRIBLE!!! My mom and I specifically told her and payed her the extra money she wanted for those two tables and she left it empty anyway. My mom was so mad that she called her back to the hall to fix the two tables. But of course she didn't. She told us that she didn't have enough flowers to do the two tables. Overall,the service is terrible. The owner is very pushy and refuses to listen to what you want or have to say. She does her own thing and assures you a million times that everything will be "gorgeous" and "amazing". I definitely wont be going back to her for my wedding.

Blue Iris did the flowers to my wedding and it wasn't what I expected. Don't get me wrong Julie does amazing work but I felt cheated with the end result. I told her over and over again I hated lilies and I definitely did not want any lilies in my wedding and when I walked into the church and my reception there were lilies everywhere in my centerpieces, head tables...I didn't understand. She also told me to pay her an extra $200 dollars so she could use more expensive orchids and flowers in my wedding flowers all together but I didn't see one orchid and they used all the cheap flowers you could think of. I have a picture of the sample she made me and the flowers I ended up with and they did not match up at all. I feel very cheated since she charged me almost $8000 for my wedding. Now I think this is where it went all wrong...when Julie makes the flowers they looks great for example my house flowers and bouquets looked amazing!!!!!!!! But when her "HELP" makes the flowers they look small, tiny, and cheap!! I hope this review helps! It seems as though everyone had the same problem so just beware!!!

All [the owner] talked about was how everyone else copied her "amazingly beautiful" designs...from the Wynn hotel in Vegas to famous celebrity florists which she showed us on magazine covers. No matter what we told her we wanted, she still ended up doing what SHE wanted at the end...and it was not worth the money at all. She wanted the full money up front and told us that she needed to go shopping for our flowers the day before our party (which does not make sense), when that was a lie! I showed up to her shop the day before my party, and saw the flowers in her fridge (the ones she was supposedly yet to buy) and watched her employees put together a centerpiece that resembled what ours. When I asked if that was mine, commenting on how tiny it was, she assured me that it would be much bigger as she was going to add more flowers...but she lied! They ended up being even smaller than the sample she showed us in the beginning. The only reason she wanted the money up front is so you don't have a chance to complain when you see her finished work. In addition, she lies about what time she will finish on the day of the event, leaving earlier than promised just so you don't happen to run into her. And don't bother calling to complain afterwards...she will make you feel like you're the idiot who doesn't appreciate her "amazingly beautiful" work...trying to make you believe that it was what you wanted all along. Long story short: Blue Iris is all a facade!!

Julie really does do a very good job, but whenever she really wants to. I love their arrangements, every time i ordered anything they all were excellent. I went by her for my wedding, she gave me a reasonable deal and provided me with very nice centerpieces and decorations. The one thing i didn't like is the way she decorated my cake. The pastry messed up the cake, didn't deliver what i ordered and instead of making it nicer and trying to cover the defects, she made it even worse. Being a professional in this business she should of realized that the cake is ruined and must have tried her best to make it more beautiful. Her overall service is good. And again she does excellent job when she wants to.

While the arrangements are a hit or miss at this shop, their service is always horrible. Having liked their previous work, I telephonically ordered a bouquet for $50 and my husband went to pick it up. I could not believe what he came home with. It was small, with random color flowers that did not go well together, and very cheap looking. When I called back the next day, Julie, the owner, tried to convince me that perhaps my husband had missed their shop and went into a different one, would not give me a chance to say a word, and went on and on about how great they are. Lastly, she said to just make sure next time you call you ask for something unique and this will not happen. I did not know we need buzz words to order flowers. But if you do decide to go with this florist, make sure to ask for "something unique" if you do not want to waste your money.

I was very disappointed with the customer service and overall experience with Blue Iris. I was promised more than what was delivered. I had a broken vase in the entry way of the banquet hall, a bare cake and engagement table, and I was overcharged for centerpieces which contained cheap flowers. All this was nothing compared to the rude and dismissive attitude of the workers. My attempts to consult and provide input was brushed off everytime. If you still decide to hire them for your event, DO NOT ask them to decorate.

Blue Iris cheated me on my centerpieces. The centerpieces she made for my event were MUCH smaller and cheaper looking than the sample she showed me. The sample was big and beautiful but the centerpieces we actually got did not even come close. Not only did she use less flowers, but also cheaper ones and charged way more than what they were worth. She over-promised and under-delivered. Her design is nice looking but she needs to realize that customer satisfaction should be first priority and should own up to her word. Word of advice: Have her guarantee what you are getting in advance, make sure it's what you want AND do not pay her in full until all the work is done and you are satisfied with it on the day of the event, or else you will be disappointed.

I honestly love their designs...very unique and gorgeous...however, I was over-promised and under-delivered. The centerpieces and the table settings was not as I expected. Still nice, but I expected more since that is what i was told during the consultation. I guess on the wedding day everybody including the vendors get stressed out....:)
