Beautiful products, prompt service!,  Wednesday, 16 April 2008 I ordered my placecard favors from this website, and their service is wonderful! First of all, they have a huge, very unique selection of adorable favors. The site was very easy to use, with all the products placed under specific themes. I received my order in less than a week, even before the promised arrival date, and I had chosen the standard form of shipping. They even sent me a discount coupon for the next time I order with them! That was great. I was hesitant at first to place an order online, but the sites multiple confirmations and easy tracking system helped a lot. I would definitely order from them again!

 Delicious cakes, horrible service!,  Tuesday, 15 April 2008 Everyone pretty much knows that Karina's Cake House makes the most delicious cakes (their meringue cake is to die for!). Why, then, must the service be so bad?! The employees have the biggest attitudes and straight up treat the customers as if they just don't need your business. And this is especially if they are just the least bit busy that day. More than once, I have just turned around and went on to some other bakery. And this is such a shame because I really do love their pastries! So I really feel bad giving them just 3 stars, but I feel I have to. They seriously need to rethink their actions and be a little more professional, because being treated that way, I honestly don't care if I never have another bite of what they have to offer!

 Charmed is the best!,  Tuesday, 15 April 2008 Me and my mom have been customers of Lilit's since before she opened up her own salon and we couldn't be happier! We used to change hairdressers as the seasons changed, but we've stuck with Lilit for over 4 years now. For one, she's the only hairdresser who has been able to bring us out of our comfortable, "blow dry only please!" phase. And she's done this because when it comes to hair, she's cool-natured, knows what she's talking about, and most importantly, knows what she's DOING! Many hairdressers stick to their own comfort zone, working with one or two styles they know best. Not Lilit! She's young and adventurous! For my engagement, I never thought I'd get an updo. When Lilit suggested it, and then proceeded to show me what she wanted to do, I knew I was in good hands and felt at ease. What I walked out of there with was classy, elegant, and NOT typical! And Charmed's make-up artist, Arpi, is another jewel! For once, I don't have to go home and retouch or redo my make-up! Honestly, with these two, I don't have to even say anything, I just trust that they'll do an exceptional job. Planning big events is already stressful enough, so knowing that you'll look good and not having to worry about that is a big help.If you have never been to Charmed but are considering trying them, rest assured Lilit will do a consultation to prepare you for your big day. And hopefully like me, you'll be more than pleased with your results!

 Perfect place for a small, intimate affair!,  Monday, 14 April 2008 I had my 165 person engagement here, and I thought it was perfect! Any more than that, and your guests will probably be a bit overcrowded and uncomfortable, but if you have anywhere from 50 to about 170 people, this is the best place! The atmosphere is so cozy and intimate that none of the guests are too far from each other, without compromising dance floor space. It's a beautiful place, it looks like a house from outside. And that's exactly how you feel, as though you're having your party at home! The food was wonderful and more than plenty. Overall, I loved my experience with Marquis Restaurant (that's what the place is called now), and my guests were also pleased! I highly recommend this restaurant.

 They'll do an exceptional job,  Friday, 11 April 2008 Gayana's Flowers did the flowers and all decorations for my engagement party...and I was flabbergasted! I honestly wasn't expecting that good of a job, but everything was sooo beautiful! I told them exactly what I wanted, and had them make me some samples. On my big day, I was more than pleased! Everything was beautiful, from my cake table, the head table, and the centerpieces! As for prices...I don't think any other florist could've done what they did for the price they did! I highly recommend this florist, just tell them EXACTLY what you want, see some examples, and make sure to consult with the owner's wife or one of the designers.

 No disappointments here!,  Friday, 11 April 2008 This is one of the best bakeries in the Valley! They are a lovely family-operated business, very knowledgeable in their field of work. For my engagement, I took them a picture of a cake I found online, and they were able to duplicate it exactly the way I wanted! Everyone who walked into the hall first looked at the cake and commented on how beautiful and unique it was before moving on. And the taste...well, let's just say nobody had just one slice! ;) You can't go wrong with House of Pastry, they will go out of their way to please you!
