The Regency consists of two distinct spaces, the Grand Ballroom and the Grey Room, so you can have your ceremony and reception all at the same location. And one of our favorite parts of this venue is that it comes with a neutral palette so it makes it easy to design the exact look you're looking for without having to be restricted to the venue's design limitations.
We spoke with the Regency Team to learn more about the venue and its rich history. And we're excited to share an exclusive discount for all Harsanik users!
Tell us more about the design and decor of this venue.
Wedding planners and designers appreciate the architectural details and subdue color scheme so they can really let their decorations shine. Our space can be completely transformed into virtually any theme and time-period you have in mind for your special event or wedding. The Regency offers a classic backdrop with a modern flair.
How many ballrooms does it contain and how large is each space?
The Regency offers two distinct spaces, the Grand Ballroom and the Grey Room. The Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 250 guests and offers 3600 sq ft. of space. The Ballroom is ideal for weddings, and virtually any event from anniversaries, birthdays, to corporate meetings and dinners.
The Grey Room is located adjacent to the Ballroom and can accommodate up to 65 guests in its 900 sq ft. space. The Grey Room is great for more intimate gatherings like ceremonies or small parties. The Regency provides chair set-up perfect for wedding ceremonies. Many couples book this space and the Ballroom for a complete and convenient ceremony to reception wedding. This intimate space is has also been booked for smaller events like tea parties, birthdays, baby showers, and bridal showers.
What catering options do you offer?
The Regency offers catering packages that can be added to your event space rental. We offer over 22 impressive menus that feature traditional and international cuisines. Our family-style dinner service is the most popular and couples rave that their guests love the grandiose display of appetizers and entrees and the outstanding seasonings and tastes that our executive chef delivers. Catering includes full wait staff with over 20 years of experience, appetizers, entrees, tea and coffee service.
Can you share a bit about the Regency Event Venue's history?
The Regency's ballroom has been around since 1987. The concept for delivering "exceptional celebrations" is the same. Many of our outstanding staff have been with us for over 20 years and our location is well-known in Glendale. Within the past year, we've re-branded as The Regency and gave the space a complete remodel to better serve our guests and meet their diverse needs.
Can you share with us some recent events that have taken place at The Regency?
The Regency recently hosted an extravagant baby shower for Sarah Stage - Instagram star, model, and mom famous for her incredible fit pregnancy physique! With over 2.3 million followers, her fans couldn't believe she was 35 weeks pregnant when she got down on the dance floor at the Regency!
Earlier this year, we also hosted several birthday bashes featuring themed events. One was a Silver and Gold birthday bash for Diana Madison - celebrity host, producer, mom and style influencer. Another was a Havana Nights birthday theme which transformed our ballroom into a 1950s upscale nightclub complete with tequila and cigars. And one of our favorites is the Pink Flamingos theme party which featured our ballroom tastefully decorated with pink details.
