Wedding Day Preparation Checklist
From the morning of the wedding, there are always activities, appointments, celebrations, even unexpected events and time changes that occur. Therefore, in order to feel calm,, organized and avoid forgetting important things, it is important for every bride and groom to plan ahead and eliminate any last minute tasks on the day of their wedding. We've featured a checklist for you to utilize prior to your big day.
1. Wedding Day Emergency Kit:
Pack a wedding day emergency kit! This should include bobby pins, hair pins, band aids, hair spray, gel, baby wipes, stain remover, double sided tape, hemming tape, tissues, and touch up makeup.

2. Wedding Bag:
Prepare a wedding day bag that will include your emergency kit to take with you. For instance, prepare for rain by including an umbrella, a shawl or jacket that matches your gown. If you're wearing panty hose, take an additional pair. Pack your bridal flats. You may also choose to include a small perfume and cologne. If you have any documents such as schedules, wedding songs, or more, make copies and keep in your bag. If you're taking a separate clutch, then you can put your wallet essentials in that. Otherwise, you should include in your wedding bag!
3. Vendors:
Stay in touch and check in with your vendors a few days prior to the wedding. Confirm all arrangements and provide them with a contact person in case of emergencies.
4. Photographer:
Most likely your photographer is going to be with you from morning. Accordingly, follow up with your photographer ensuring he has your most recent schedule and provide him with a list of important photos you don't want to miss.
5. DJ:
Follow up with your DJ to review the reception schedule, songs, and finalize any last minute changes or suprises!

6. Payments:
Organize and prepare your final payments to ensure you pay all the necessary vendors on time and in full payments. You don't want to worry about that the day of your wedding! You may also want to take additional cash in case of emergencies or unexpected payments.
7. Point People:
Ask close relatives or friends whom you can trust, to be at the ceremony and reception early and organize any last minute preparations. For instance, someone might need to take and organize the table cards and favors to the reception the day of the wedding.
8. Table Cards:
Alphabetize your table cards in advance to save time!
9. Wedding Day Items:
Organize wedding day items such as table cards, favors, cake knife, champagne glasses, and any additional props such as signs, bubbles, flower petals, and more in one place and ensure they are taken to the right locations prior or the day of the wedding.
10. Legal Documents:
Assign who will be keeping your marriage license safe after the ceremony!
11. Breakfast:
Make breakfast plans and pack some bars in your bag. Usually, with hair and makeup appointments so early, the bride forgets to eat breakfast. If you plan ahead, you might actually enjoy a nice breakfast.

12. Gift Care-taker:
Assign someone to take care of your gifts! Even though you might have a gift box, it is beneficial to have someone in charge.
13. Limousine Driver:
Make sure to take the limousine driver's contact information and give him a contact person as he/she will need to stay in touch all day.
14. Honeymoon:
Pack for your honeymoon a few days in advance to be prepared and not worry about that after your wedding.
15. Wedding Party:
Touch base with your wedding party. Ensure your best man, maid of honor, and the rest of your party are up to date with all the plans and aware of the wedding day schedule.
16. Traveling Guests:
Follow up with your traveling guests a day or two prior to the wedding to make sure they are fully accommodated and have a contact person to guide them the day of the wedding.
By following a checklist and preparing ahead of time, you can relax the night before and enjoy your wedding day knowing everything is under control!
