All I ever knew about my bridesmaid's dresses was that they had to be the color mint. Keeping this in mind, two of my bridesmaids and I happened to be in downtown one day and decided to just peek and see what dresses may be available. We walked into a store, and I saw a particular dress hanging on a mannequin. I fell in love with the look and asked to see it in mint. My friends tried on the dress in mint and although I thought it was pretty, it definitely was hard to picture five girls in that dress in that color.

So we walked around and tried on a few dresses and as we were about to leave, we walked back into the same store and the girls tried on the dress in blush, the color it was on the mannequin. I wanted to lie and say I didn't like it but I just couldn't. It was perfect! I asked the owner the price of the dress and he quoted me a reasonable amount. I told him that I wasn't ready to purchase them that day as I was just looking around and didn't have my other bridesmaids there to try it on and give me their opinion.
He told me that if I bought them that day he would give me 50% off. So I quickly texted my bridesmaid Mallory, who lives in Chicago and she gave me thumbs up! I contacted my other two bridesmaids who didn't even know we had looked at a bridesmaids dress (trust me, it wasn't the plan), and they too agreed and liked the dress.
I really didn't have any other reason to wait any longer, so I purchased the dresses that day!! I am so thankful and grateful that I have bridesmaids who trusted me and are so cooperative and patient in the process and I look forward to everyone seeing the beautiful blush and silver bridesmaid dresses that my girls and I picked out together!
Costs to Expect:
