Mary's Story: Our Engagement Party

As you may recall, Raffi and I got engaged on August 27, 2016 when Raffi surprised me with a sweet proposal surrounded with our close family. Immediately after the proposal, we decided to have an engagement party on October 28, 2016. I planned everything for our engagement myself and I am excited to share with you all.

Prior to our engagement party, we also did an engagement photoshoot with Golden Picture & Video at the Arboretum.

Our Engagement party took place at De Luxe Banquet Hall in Burbank. Everything came together perfectly. Our first dance song was Joni "Sirum Em Qez". Mine and Raffi's favorite song that has been "our song" throughout our relationship is Firestones by Kygo. We dance to this song at every event we go to. Naturally, we had to have it at our engagement as well! It was our last dance and we had a special moment as Raffi spun me around at the end.

We loved every moment of our engagement party as we celebrated the night away with our friends and family. We've already started planning for our wedding which will be on October 21, 2017 and I can't wait to share all the details with you.
