"I hated wedding planning! I hated every second of it!"

We recently sat down with Sona and Tak to hear all about their love story, wedding planning adventures, and their wedding. Sona and Tak shared how they met, hilarious stories of their first date, the proposal, and even some highlights from their engagement party at Conan O'Brien and his wife Liza Powell O'Brien's house. While some girls enjoy the wedding planning process, Sona shared a very honest and raw assessment. "I feel like I have PTSD from planning a wedding!"

Sona shares what it was like to plan a BIG Armenian wedding. Sona originally wanted a "small Armenian wedding" with only 250 guest. Find out how big Sona and Tak's wedding ended up being and what were some of the biggest challenges.

"Wedding dress shopping was the worst... The bridal dress industry is a racket!"

Wedding dress shopping was a complete nightmare for Sona. Sona had us cracking up as she shared stories of her experience visiting over 20 stores.

She may have struggled finding the dress, but we loved how elegant and classy she looked on her wedding day.

"I found most of my vendors on Harsanik."

Armenian vendors know best. Sona and Tak joke about why it's so important to hire Armenian vendors, especially if you're going to have a big Armenian wedding! And it's an honor to hear Sona and Tak found Harsanik to be a valuable resource for wedding planning.

"Are we really going to go frolick on the beach right now?"

Sona and Tak chose El Matador Beach in Malibu as their engagement photoshoot destination. We're thrilled to share photos and the video highlights from their fun shoot with Ani Studios.
