Rita Zakarian obtained a B.A. in Fashion and Textile Design from the Ealing College of Higher Education in London. Shortly after completing school, she moved to Los Angeles and began her career as a textile designer at Brush Off Art Studio. Her strong aptitude for design led her to work as the lead textile designer at Kronfli Spundale Mills Inc. Here she was given the freedom to exhibit other creative talents which were immediately utilized. She began designing lavish gifts for the company's high-profile clientele: Nike, Guess, Gap, and Max Studio. She was also tasked to handle the interior design of their new corporate offices. Rita eventually built a clientele of her own and left Kronfli Spundale Mills Inc. to work as an independent interior/exterior stylist. For over a decade, her success is a direct reflection of her continuing design philosophy, to provide inspiring ideas and guidance in achieving the highest satisfaction of her clientele.
