Perfect!
I had my engagement here in December. All I want to say is WOW! I was so happy with the service. Very honest people to work with and everything was ON POINT. I don't even have one complaint. From the decorations to the food. Everything that was promised was there and everything was just perfect. I definitely recommend this hall for guests 100-150.

Awesome!!!! Very pretty hall. Perfect for smalle
LOVE this hall. I used Bellaj for my Baby Shower 11/20/2010. I am not one to like the goddy ambiance of most Armenian banquet halls, so Bellaj fit the bill perfectly. The decorations and the works of art all over the hall are very modern. The crystal lighting all over gives the hall a very upscale look and you don't have to go overboard with the decorations. The staff is wonderful- very professional and accommodating. The food is of great quality you can taste.
After visiting half the halls on Harsanik.com to scope out a smaller venue for a baby shower, Bellaj was a breath of fresh air to walk into! I can keep going: Easy parking (no required valet), clean and new facility, reasonable prices, owner/manager was great to work with, etc
If you are looking to host a party with 50 to 150 guests, you have to at least go see this place!

Fantastic Ambiance
Less than two weeks ago my husband and I had our sons Christening party at Bellaj. We had approx 130 guest and had looked many halls and we were not able to find one as beautiful looking as this one for the number of guests that we had. More importantly, we were not able to get one that we liked the selected of food; just about everywhere we went they had the same kinds of appetizers and entrees. My husband and I fell in love with the place and reserved the place. After reserving the place, we were told several bad stories about Bellaj, their service and food and we were left wondering how things would turn out. We were assured that the service would be the best as well as the food. Having said that, we on the day of the event, we were so surprised with everything. It not only met our expectation, it exceeded our expectation in every way. The hall looked fantastic, the appetizers were great as well as their meals. There was so much great food that the guests had no place left on the tables to put their meals. As for the service, that was another great story. Their servers were true professionals, great attitude and took care of our guest in ever way possible and let me add WITH A SMILE; which is not what you get at most other places. All the servers were great and their manager (Hamlet) was fantastic and very accommodating. I met with him twice to go over our plan and changed our plan on him several times with no issues; he was great. I loved this place and would do it all over again. After reading reviews below, I realized that the bad reviews that I had received from family and friends may had something to do with the last owners or they have had a major attitude and service change as they were fabulous for us. Thanks to Bellaj's management and employees for making the night one that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Loved the AMBIANCE, LOVE The SERVICE and LOVED THE FOOD. :-)

New Owners are getting it RIGHT!!!!
Ya I've read the comments and I've been to Bellaj before but I was literally WOWED on what the new owners has done! First off all, the new look is absolutely amazing and elegant...they've probably changed their chef cuz I don't remember their food being that good and the servers have really improved. I had a great time, I dont know who these new owners are but they've done an AMAZING job in making Bellaj EASILY a top 5 banquet hall in LA imo...check the place out, you'll love it!! xoxo

Odd place
I attending a wedding here. The lay out was very strange, it seems like the seating areas (there are 4) are very separated from the dance floor. It made the guest feel like they were at a public restaurant and there was a small party going on somewhere in the distance. The distance is so great that you barely heard the music from the dance floor, let alone see the dance floor. The whole night our table joked about how they have to "get on the freeway" to go the dance floor.
The food was OK...I honestly never saw a waiter come to our table...

Greedy
I was there 3 weeks ago for a non profit organization. The food is OK, the service is terrible, you ask for napkin they argue with you, you ask for place setting they tell you we had it on the table and don't know what happened to it instead of bringing one. :) Very funny. I would not recommend this place at all.
